I also have Kaspersky Internet Security and have downloaded Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. I believe it may also be adding fly-in ads to the right margins of my browsers on certain pages. I believe FoxTab is loading tabs in my browsers to install various software, including pages that "appear" to be legitimate and include Microsoft partner logos, among other normally trusted sources. I've done Internet searches and find several sites that claim to have software that will remove FoxTab, but I'm afraid to install these in case they may actually make the situation worse. I've tried downloading and re-installing Malwarebytes but receive installation errors. I've tried running Malwarebytes (I have a Premium subscription) but on the infected computer, when I try to launch Malwarebytes, the message "Do you want to allow this program to make changes to this computer?" appears. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I get the error message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. I go to the \Program Files (x86)\FoxTab\1.8.12.0 directory and try to run uninstall.exe. Please contact your system administrator." I have Administrator rights on my computer. When I try to uninstall FoxTab using the Windows Control Panel, I get this error message: "You do not have sufficient access to uninstall FoxTab.
